Legal psilocybin facilitation for adults over 21 years old in Oregon
What is Psilocybin?
Psilocybin mushrooms, commonly known as '“magic mushrooms”, are a powerful hallucinogenic plant medicine that has been in existence for centuries. There is a long history that links psilocybin mushrooms to being sacred and are closely connected to shamanism and spirituality in Mexico and Central and South America. They produce an altered state of consciousness effect that can lead to profound intrapersonal experiences and therefore interpersonal enhancements.
Research has provided scientific information to help find language and understand the mechanisms behind its therapeutic benefits, but much remains a mystery regarding how this plant can help heal deep unresolved trauma and heartache.
For more information about the research, you can visit one of the leading institutions for psilocybin research, Johns Hopkins University. Many more reputable institutions are carrying out similar research, feel free to explore more to gather more knowledge around the research.
Psilocybin mushrooms are now legal in Oregon under Measure 109, which is overseen by the Oregon Health Authority. Since 2023, individuals have been working to comply with regulations for manufacturing, operating service centers, and training psilocybin facilitators. This marks a significant milestone for the legalization of working with plant medicine.
Are you being called to explore your inner world with psilocybin?
Exploring consciousness is a fundamental human right. Many people are turning to plant medicines to expand their minds and heal from past wounding, while others are simply curious about exploring their inner dimensions. Both ancient indigenous practices and modern research have revealed the positive effects of psychedelics for personal transformation and growth.
The following are reported possible effects studied in research that psilocybin can offer people:
✗ Reduction in depression and anxiety
✗ Relief from end-of-life distress
✗ Interruption of addictions
✗ Connection to the mystical or peak experiences
✗ Improved emotional processing and strengthening neuroplasticity
Please note that psilocybin is not recommended for everyone. There are certain risk and danger factor for some folks. It is cruicial to have an assessment and sometimes consultation with your medical providers to determine if psilocybin is a good fit for you. This is not a “magic pill” nor a panacea. Psilocybin can have negative adverse effects and it is important to have a thorough assessment and exploratory call with your facilitator before engaging in this modality.
Integration is essential to maintaining and digesting information explored or revealed in the journey. It is also important to note that not everyone will experience the same effects and some may not have an experience at all. These are some of the risks that are important to know before hand. See attached document for more information and book a call to explore if this may be a good fit for you.
What psychedelics have taught me…
My transformative journey into expanded states of consciousness began at age 20 during my first experience at Burning Man. The vibrant atmosphere at the event, where people freely expressed themselves, opened my eyes to new possibilities for the human spirit. Witnessing individuals embracing their true selves through art, fashion, interactions, and uninhibited self-expression completely shifted my perspective on life.
Burning Man catalyzed my personal growth, allowing me to explore my identity and liberation. With no constraints for over a week, no distractions from the outside world, and no limits to my exploration, I delved deep into my own consciousness, embracing the freedom to be myself.
The incredible experiences at Burning Man propelled me to pursue a master's in psychology and embark on the path of psychedelic therapy. It was a place where I discovered self-love and even met my beloved life partner.
Since then, my journey has been thrilling and unexpected. I have expanded the lens of how I see psychedelic spaces from recreational to intentional, heart led ceremonial and ritualized containers. My path's continuous evolution in this field humbles and energizes me.
I am honored to continue this journey alongside you. Let's explore this work together and create new, meaningful experiences.

“I’ve worked with Gina closely in psychedelic clinical trials. She is consistently heart-led, expertly attuned, is an exquisite communicator, receives and responds to feedback with grace, and she navigates both light and shadow with sophistication and ease. Most importantly, she is constantly honing her skills, re-centering, and evolving as a practitioner and as a human.

Your journey is unique to you, but it can involve deep introspection, emotional release, and insights into your life. It may also bring unexpected challenges alongside moments of profound connection and clarity. It also can be a flat experience that doesn’t produce an effect. Explore the research to see what reputable institutions are saying about it. Talk to friends and be curious about what is out there.
Keeping an open and curious mind, while feeling prepared and safely attuned to your facilitator can support the experience.

It is important to understand that psilocybin does not produce the same effect for everyone. People may come to this work with certain expectations of how the mushroom will work on them based on what they read or heard. Expectation management is important in this work and naming that not everyone will have a "mystical" or life-changing experience. This does not mean anything is wrong with you, but knowing that mushrooms work differently for everyone. We will explore this more in preparation.

Challenging experiences are a normal and can be part of the psilocybin journey. I'm trained to provide support and guidance through difficulties that may arise, and I'll be with you every step of the way.
We will explore resources of support that may offer you reassurance and care in our preparation session.
-
We'll discuss preparation in detail during our sessions, but it's important to prioritize rest, eat nutritious foods, and set clear intentions for your experience. Begin to drop into a meditative/ contemplative place within yourself a week before and a week after the administration session, if possible. This gives enough space to the experience and begins to build a relationship between you and the plant, and your intentions.
-
Integration is a crucial part of the process. We'll have a dedicated integration session to discuss your experience and explore ways to integrate your insights into your daily life. I'll offer tools and resources to help you continue your healing and growth journey.
Additional integration support can be requested.
